What is the role?

Based in Manchester, you will be delivering our Software Development Apprenticeship programme.

With our support, you will deliver/coach using face to face, e-Learning or digital Software Development courses and content to like-minded people. Whether they are a highly qualified professional or a beginner looking to get into the world of Software Development. 

How will we support you?

Using your Software Development experience, we will help you achieve your Trainer accreditation/qualification which gives you the confidence and knowledge to teach.

You will also be assigned a co-pilot/buddy to help get you up to speed throughout your training period and beyond.

Financial package and benefits 

We are offering a base salary of up to £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience), private pension as well as 25 days holiday. 2 days paid Charity work each year for a charity of your choice (which we actively encourage), 3 days of additional training which does not need to be relevant to your role from our very own course selection (1,200 to be precise), subsidised gym membership and cycle to work scheme.

Your experience:

  • Direct experience of a similar role (Desirable)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience of developing software and/or web applications using Java, preferably in a corporate environment (Essential)
  • Experience of databases and writing software using SQL, preferably in a corporate environment (Essential)
  • Experience of Data Analysis (Desirable)
  • Recognised IT qualifications in Software Development qualifications and experience (Essential)
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (Desirable)
  • Willingness to gain Trainer accreditation/qualification
  • Customer facing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to share expertise and experience with others.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK and ability to travel to different locations
