Academic Programmes Manager Manchester Campus 

Q Do you & have Programme Management & Lecturing experience to deliver high quality undergraduate programmes and do you enjoy being in the classroom to teach?

A little more about the role: With your relentless organisation & planning skills you will be our key contact for allocated undergraduate programmes being  responsible for the leadership and academic delivery/development of undergraduate degree business and management programmes. Being an excellent communicator, your contribution will help us to continue to deliver outstanding programmes giving our students the journey and experience that we pride ourselves on. Also being in the classroom is a very important part of all our senior roles on Campus – good news, you will still have teaching involvement with some classroom teaching allocated within your working week. Working within a vibrant, energetic and growing team, you will have a passion for excellence to help our business and students achieve the desired goals   

What you’ll get up to:

To be responsible for leadership and academic delivery/development of undergraduate degree programmes. To ensure compliance with academic standards in order to provide a high quality student experience through a high calibre academic team.

High levels of commitment required to lead programmes successfully in conjunction with Programme Leaders

Problem solving skills, able to resolve day-to-day student and staff related queries

Line management responsibility of academic staff at the Birmingham campus

What you’ll bring to the team:

Able to plan, organise and deliver high quality HE programmes in related subject areas

Understanding of QAA Quality Code

Strong understanding of the HE market place.

Experience of working in a partnership with UK HEIs

Familiar with current developments in research and scholarship

Experience of delivering UG programmes and supporting Level 3-7 students

Undergraduate Degree and a Master’s degree (or equivalents) – essential

PGCE / Fellowship HEA – highly desirable
