Marketing Assistant - Events & Partnerships (12 months FTC)

Do you want to create engaging content, have the freedom to use your initiative and multiple marketing channels to market our popular Teach the Nation to Code workshops?

If you have a passion for customer service, event planning and want to work on a 12-month project where you will help people get into coding - this could be the perfect opportunity for you...

Teach the Nation to Code (TTNTC) is a collection of free, interactive workshops developed around current UK digital skills shortages, allowing people to learn entry-level Python skills. These workshops have been designed in a way that's easy to understand regardless of someone background or experience.

Working mainly on QA’s ‘Teach the Nation to Code’ project, you will write content for a whole range of platforms/formats including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogs, brochures, articles, e-shots, microsite and events to drive as many people to take part.

A major part of your role will be to engage with companies and stakeholders, therefore, understanding how to connect with different people and adapting your writing technique accordingly is key, as well as setting-up these events which are currently virtual.

About you

  • Proven copywriting background
  • Experience running events
  • Project management experience would be ideal
  • Good stakeholder engagement and a customer focussed mindset
