Instructional Designer, Initial 12 month fixed term contract   

Home Based with a little travel to London

About our role:  QA is the UK’s market leader in tech and business learning, across both online and face-to-face delivery. We are constantly innovating for our clients and we are embarking on an ambitious programme to bring together online and classroom-based learning. These new courses will focus on equipping our learners with skills that are highly relevant to their workplace and helping them to apply them.

You will be joining a talented team of learning and content experts including specialist trainers, learning architects, instructional designers, graphic designer, video producers, writers and platform experts.

Here’s what’s involved: As Instructional Designer you will have the experience to design and develop blended learning programmes for QA’s core products and for individual client requirements. This will include specification of the overall design, together with scripting and storyboarding of the digital learning components

In developing blended learning, you will create & design content based on an in-depth understanding of the learner and client requirements. Your blended learning programmes should be innovative and crafted to a high quality, ultimately measured by delivering better outcomes for learners and our client.

Bring your experience:

Demonstrate successful design and development of digital, blended and face-to-face learning programmes, preferably in an Instructional Design role.

Quality assurance of educational products, ensuring pedagogical quality, technical reliability and consistency of content (educational scripts, videos, publications, textbooks, etc.).

Practical know-how on rapid Learning Authoring Tools (Adapt, Evolve, Storyline, etc.).

Practical know-how on VLE (virtual learning environments/platforms) content creation and management.
