Learning Architect

Full time and permanent opportunity

Home-based, with limited travel to London and client sites

About our role:  As a Learning Architect, you’ll lead and support on designing digital and blended learning solutions for both QA and bespoke client learning products. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the products and programmes are designed around the specific needs of the stakeholder, to align with their wider Learning & Development strategy. Ensuring the programmes are innovative and designed around the learner experience, ultimately measured by delivering better outcomes for learners and their organisations.

Your role will also include solution consultancy, proposal writing and specifying scope of work for the production teams.

Here’s what to expect of your role:

Analysis stage:

  • Work with the stakeholders, conduct interviews, analyse data to identify and describe the characteristics of the target audiences and their learning requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify evaluation methods and metrics to measure the success of products and programme.

Design stage:

  •  Select appropriate learning methodologies, underpinned by a ‘digital first’ mind-set.
  • Define learning strategies and ensure they are aligned with learning requirements, overarching pedagogical guidelines, technical and commercial requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to create project specification documents, where the pedagogical decisions will be shown to match the target audience’s characteristics and learning objectives.
  • Create and present proposals – to include learning solutions and pricing.

 Development stage:

  • Ensure a smooth handover of product and programme specifications to the production team.
  • Act as Product Owner to ensure finished products meet specified requirements.
  • Provide information on future pipeline of work to support planning of product development.

Bring your experience:

  •  Track-record in successfully delivering large-scale educational projects, preferably in a learning content development related role.
  • Significant experience leading Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes and sign-off of educational products, ensuring pedagogical quality, technical reliability, and consistency of content (educational scripts, elearning storyboards, videos, publications, textbooks, etc.).
  • Experience monitoring the market for new trends, technologies, and R&D of new learning solutions.
  • Experience managing educational products throughout all stages of learning development life cycle.
  • Experience managing budget plans with timely development and implementation.
  • Practical knowledge on rapid Learning Authoring Tools.
  • Practical knowledge on VLE/LMS content creation and management.
